Where is the Occoquan Yacht Club? Where do you keep your boat? That's right, the club is wherever our members are. OYC has members in every marina on the river from Washington to Quantico plus some out-of-towners who keep in touch with a network of friends that has been growing steadily since OYC's founding in 1984. There is no clubhouse, which means no dues-supported mortgage. Why Join? To make boating an even more enjoyable part of your life! Enjoy cruises, raft-ups, social activities ashore and afloat, safety awareness, fun-filled competitions, prizes, and a touch of yachting protocol (without the posturing). For example:

By downloading and filling out a membership application. Mail it to Occoquan Yacht Club along with a check for the membership option you've chosen. The membership year runs from January 1 to December 31. Click here to view our Bylaws page. When you join, you will receive a new-member packet filled with information about the club, your membership card(s), and a recent edition of the club's award-winning newsletter, The Daymarker. That's another good reason for joining OYC: each month you will receive The Daymarker, a freshly written, irreverently amusing and informative newsletter that has become the envy of yacht clubs throughout the region.
