OYC Membership Meeting
and Halloween party, contests, and more
October 28, 2000, Kingstowne Community Center, VA

scary pumpkinsThe Fall 2000 Membership Meeting was held at the beautiful Kingstowne Community Center in Alexandria, on Saturday, October 28.

OYCers thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon--contests (chili cookoff, dessert, and costumes), a short meeting (just to keep things official), and the election of the 2001 Board. If you couldn't make it, don't worry--OYC still has a few tricks and treats in store for us this year, and they're coming up faster than you can say, "Wow! Who made that chili?"

  • The Santa Cruise to Occoquan is scheduled for Saturday, November 25; and remember
  • The Christmas Party/Change of Watch at Fort Belvoir will be on Saturday, December 2.

See the November Daymarker for more details.

Mary Jo Worcester organized another successful Hardy Souls Cruise to Old Town Alexandria this weekend, November 3-5. We'll have some pictures to post soon. In the meantime, here are a few photos from the membership meeting, courtesy of OYC Webmaster Ned Rhodes. Got any photos from the day that you'd like to see posted? Send them to Liz(zie Bitz) and we'll put them online for you.
