The Occoquan Yacht Club flag raising ceremony took place on May 3rd. A big crowd gathered to await the festivities led by Commodore Steve and Vice Commodore Teresa. As the crowd watched, Past Commodores Tom and Aaron hoisted the flags. Rick loaded the cannon and fired to start the new season. OYC members spent some time meeting and greeting each other and then eating. April birthdays brought a big cake for dessert.
